New CD Review

Man, I don’t know what they put in the water up there in wild, wooly New Hampshire—judging by Scissorfight, I’d guess cheap beer and top-shelf whiskey–but with a band like Mindset X, I have to suspect the addition of chemicals of a more, shall we say, cerebral nature? I mean, this here is some pretty smart music. It’s also unique enough that I can’t slap an easy label on it—“prog metal” is tempting, but it’s incorrect.

As if things weren't busy enough in the MSX camp :-) Mindset X jumped back into the studio this week to record a single track for the best whiskey around, Cabin Fever. Cabin Fever is a smooth whiskey that is infused with pure Vermont Maple Syrup. It rocks. Check it out.

What a fantastic night at Madbobs last weekend. The place was PACKED and the crowd rocked! Stay tuned for many more shows, CD news, reviews and some other "special" things. Again, thanks for making a the 2nd CD release a roaring success!!!!!

This Saturday,  Jan 23rd, we are having our second CD release party in celebration of "as seen on tv" (which has been getting great reviews; btw!).

It will be held at Madbobs in Manchester, NH.
